While we can’t guarantee that your puppy will never have a health problem, we can promise we will do our best to ensure your new family member is healthy from the moment he or she arrives home!

The Health of Your Puppy is Our Primary Concern
We begin by selecting our breeders. We carefully select our breeders, and we only collaborate with those who uphold our high criteria set by the industry. We continue to make sure that a breeder is producing healthy puppies even after they have been welcomed into our community. To this end, we demand thorough health examinations for each puppy sold by charming bulldogs.
Comprehensive Health Evaluations
Every breeder must ensure that their puppies receive the most recent immunizations and dewormings. Before going home with their new family, every puppy must pass a thorough examination from nose to tail performed by the qualified veterinarian employed by the breeder. Our required Veterinary Health Report (VHR) contains the findings of this health evaluation.
A puppy’s ears, eyes, mouth, teeth, gums, respiratory system, cardiovascular system, musculoskeletal system, skin and coat, gastrointestinal system, and external genitalia must all be examined for the VHR certification, which comes from a registered veterinarian working in the third party. Additionally, we strongly advise new puppy owners to take their animals to the veterinarian as soon as is reasonably feasible after arrival. Since your new puppy has just moved from a breeder to your home, having a checkup as soon as possible will be beneficial.

Our Health Commitment
Before bringing a puppy home, it’s important to know that owning a puppy means frequent visits to a veterinarian and that you will be responsible for all costs associated with such veterinarian visits.
We do everything we can to make sure your puppy is as healthy as possible when she arrives, but puppies are living breathing animals which means health issues do arise despite our best efforts.
Days 1-14
In the event that a contagious disease, illness, or parasite is discovered in your puppy, Charming Bulldogs will reimburse you for the reasonable and normal veterinary expenditures up to the puppy’s purchase price for treating the ailment.
Year 1
Charming Bulldogs will repay a fair, verified insurance deductible and copay if a major insurance provider determines that your dog has a congenital or inherited issue that negatively impacts their health.
Years 2-10
For all breeds (with the exception of English Bulldogs), Charming Bulldogs will credit you for the purchase of another puppy up to 50% of the actual veterinary expenses incurred in connection with the diagnosed condition, or reimburse you up to 25% of the puppy’s purchase price, if you prefer. This credit will be applied to reasonable, documented, and actually incurred veterinary expenses related to the diagnosed condition.
